Beach/Park Picnics

Please Note: NO ALCOHOL is permitted at Pere Marquette, Muskegon State Park, Duck Lake State Park, Lake Harbor State Park or Hoffmaster State Park. You will be responsible for any parking fees associated with the public beach or park location you are booking your picnic on. Beach/Park rules apply.

Food Policy

Our picnics do not include food unless specifically listed in the package description. We work directly with several local catering companies for the food options listed at booking. Individual catering company policies apply. If you are looking to bring your own take-out meal, we recommend contacting a local restaurant for take-out at least 1 hour before your scheduled pick up time and requesting pick up at least 20 minutes before your scheduled picnic time. We do not pick up food from restaurants.

Cancellation Policy
No cancellations within 48 hours of the picnic/event time. Cancellations made with 48 hours or more notice will receive a refund minus a service fee of 50% of the picnic/event cost. With enough notice, as determined by Posh West, we may be able to reschedule. Please reach out to us for more details.

Weather Policy
Posh West reserves the right to make cancellations on the day of the outdoor picnic/event due to inclement weather. Posh West will notify you of the cancellation via phone, text or email, whichever you have chosen as your preferred method of contact. If you prefer not to move your event indoors, Posh West will make an attempt to reschedule the picnic for a different day and time within 1 year of the originally scheduled picnic/event time. If a reschedule is not possible, you may request a full refund for the picnic portion of your event minus the 50% non-refundable deposit. The non-refundable deposit may be used towards any of our offerings within one year of original event booking.

Please Note: Ordered food and floral arrangements are NON-REFUNDABLE, unless we are able to cancel your order within ordered catering/floral company cancellation policy.

If Posh West has to cancel your picnic/event for reasons other than weather, we will fully refund you for all fees paid, including the non-refundable deposit if you do not wish to reschedule.

Liability

Posh West Picnics & Events will not be liable for any claim of personal injury, death, loss or damage occurring on or around any portion of the event, including but not limited to the party area with Posh West equipment.

In home/private venue

The Hirer is responsible for clearing the area prior to set-up e.g. moving of heavy furniture and clearing of any breakable items to make way for Posh West rental equipment.
All floor areas must be clean from dirt and dust before setup commences.
The Hirer is responsible for indicating clearly the location of the assembly or dismantling of the equipment. Posh West team members will take every care, but shall not be liable for any damage to the site, site access, furniture or personal belongings.

Use of Equipment and Accessories

Damage to Hire equipment and accessories during hire period use is the responsibility of the Hirer and the Hirer agrees that repair or replacement charges for damaged equipment and accessories
The Hirer should not attempt to repair the equipment and accessories without prior consent of Posh West.

Liability to Third Parties

Posh West Picnics & Events will not be liable for any claim for personal injury, death, loss or damage to the hirer's property or persons. Posh West Picnics & Events will not be liable for any claim of personal injury, death, loss or damage occurring on or around any portion of the event, including but not limited to the party area with Posh West equipment.
