Beach/Park Picnics

Please Note: NO ALCOHOL is permitted at any public beach locations. You will be responsible for any parking fees associated with the public beach or park location you are booking your picnic on. Beach/Park rules apply.

Food Policy

Our picnics do not include food or beverages. If you are looking to bring your own take-out meal, we recommend contacting a local restaurant for take-out at least 1 hour before your scheduled pick up time and requesting pick up at least 20 minutes before your scheduled picnic time. We do not pick up food from restaurants.

Cancellation Policy
No cancellations within 48 hours of the picnic/event time. Cancellations made with 48 hours or more notice will receive a refund of picnic cost minus the non-refundable $50 deposit.

With enough notice, as determined by Posh West, we may be able to reschedule and apply your deposit to a future event. Please reach out to us for more details.

Weather Policy
Posh West reserves the right to make cancellations on the day of the outdoor picnic/event due to inclement weather. Posh West will notify you of the cancellation via phone, text or email, whichever you have chosen as your preferred method of contact. If you prefer not to move your event indoors, Posh West will make an attempt to reschedule the picnic for a different day and time within 1 year of the originally scheduled picnic/event time. If a reschedule is not possible, you may request a full refund for the picnic portion of your event including the $50 deposit. Deposit refund applies to inclement weather only.

Please Note: Fresh floral arrangements(if applicable) are NON-REFUNDABLE, unless we are able to cancel your order within ordered floral company cancellation policy. Fresh floral (if applicable) costs will be deducted prior to any refunds being issued.

If Posh West has to cancel your picnic/event for reasons other than weather, we will fully refund you for all fees paid, including the non-refundable deposit if you do not wish to reschedule.

Liability, Assumption of Risk & Indemnification

Client and all event attendees acknowledge that participation in a Posh West Picnics & Events experience involves inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, trips, falls, weather-related conditions, uneven terrain, water hazards, public beach conditions, interactions with third parties, and the use of event furniture, décor, equipment, and props.

By booking and participating in the event, Client voluntarily assumes all risks associated with attendance and participation. Posh West Picnics & Events, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any personal injury, illness, death, loss, theft, damage to personal property, or any other claim, expense, or damages arising out of or related to the event, whether occurring within the designated event space or surrounding areas.

Client agrees to accept full responsibility for the conduct and safety of all guests attending the event and agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Posh West Picnics & Events from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from Client’s event, guests, or use of the event setup.

In-Home / Private Property Setups

Site Preparation & Access

Client is responsible for ensuring the event space is fully prepared prior to Posh West Picnics & Events’ arrival. This includes moving furniture, removing fragile or valuable items, securing pets, and clearing sufficient space for setup and teardown. All floor surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of dirt, debris, or hazards.

Client is responsible for clearly identifying the designated setup location and ensuring safe, unobstructed access to the property for delivery, setup, and removal of equipment.

While Posh West Picnics & Events will exercise reasonable care during setup and breakdown, Posh West shall not be liable for damage to flooring, landscaping, driveways, walls, furniture, décor, personal belongings, or other property resulting from normal setup, teardown, transport, or event operations.

Equipment Use & Damage

All rental equipment, furnishings, décor, and accessories remain the property of Posh West Picnics & Events at all times.

Client accepts full responsibility for any loss, theft, misuse, excessive soiling, or damage to rental items occurring during the rental period, whether caused by Client, guests, vendors, children, pets, or other attendees. Client agrees to pay the full cost of repair or replacement for any damaged or missing items.

Client and guests shall not move, alter, dismantle, modify, or attempt to repair any Posh West equipment without prior written consent.

Safety / Right to Refuse or Cancel Service

Posh West Picnics & Events reserves the right to refuse, suspend, modify, or cancel services at any time if conditions are deemed unsafe, hazardous, inappropriate, inaccessible, threatening, or otherwise unsuitable for staff, equipment, or event execution.

This includes, but is not limited to:

unsafe weather conditions
aggressive, intoxicated, or disruptive guests
unsafe property conditions
unsecured pets
hazardous access routes
unsafe beach or water conditions
illegal activity
conditions that pose a risk of injury, damage, or loss

If service is canceled, interrupted, or modified due to unsafe or prohibited conditions, refunds shall be issued solely at the discretion of Posh West Picnics & Events in accordance with company cancellation policies.

By booking and participating, Client voluntarily assumes all risks associated with the event.

Posh West Picnics & Events, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any personal injury, illness, death, loss, theft, property damage, or any other claims arising out of or related to the event, whether occurring within the event area, surrounding premises, public spaces, private property, or while using Posh West equipment.

Client accepts full responsibility for the conduct, supervision, and safety of all guests and agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Posh West Picnics & Events from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from the event, Client’s property, or actions of attendees.
